Crap! I thought I posted this!!

I woke up late on Saturday. It was snowing (gently with big snowflakes) I skipped breakfast and headed out to Westborn.

I bought hot dogs (Dearborn natural casings), buns, and one dozen large eggs; Some pita bread, two lobster tails (cold water), no-bean chili sauce, some bean sprouts, five lemons and a sweet onion.

When I got back home, Jake and Carla were there. He came by to try and fix a problem I have on my computer.

Carla helped me put away my groceries (which I appreciated at the time). We chatted while Jake worked. He was ultimately unsuccessful at fixing the problem and said he’ll have to talk to the WAN administrator on Monday. I won’t go into details because I know most of you don’t understand nor care about, say, a VPN.

They left for home and I relaxed on the couch, reading my book. My daughter Melissa called and we talked for a long, long time.

When we hung up, I took a nap. I woke up hungry so I started gathering my stuff to make some chili dogs and mac & cheese (from the box). I diced up a quarter of the sweet onion and got the water boiling for the macaroni. I got out that nifty square griddle pan and then I went to heat up the chili. And, I couldn’t find it!

I looked everywhere in that kitchen! I tried calling her, but just got voicemail. By then the mac & cheese was ready and so were the hot dogs. So, I ate one dog with just mustard and onions (sigh).

I watched the Red Wings and then a movie and went to bed.

  1. Sometimes it pays to "do it yourself" (sorry Carla...you can put my groceries away anyday!)

  2. A special thanks to Carla for that Bleu Cheese (Jake said he didn't know anything about it).I discovered it at lunch, getting some Swiss cheese out for my ham sandwich)

  3. Carla also said we didn't leave anything over there. Perhaps it used to be something else...?
