Saturday's Snow

I woke up at 8:00 AM on Saturday and posted the Blog entry. Then I made up my grocery shopping list. I thought I’d go shopping in the afternoon. I made a 6-cup pot of coffee and drank my first watching the news.

I did a load of laundry and ran the dishwasher. I was hanging the clothes up when the phone rang. It was my daughter, Melissa. So, I got another cup of coffee and sat on the couch.

We talked for a couple of hours and, as we were talking it started to snow here. Then it started to snow harder!

After we said our goodbyes and hung up, I decided grocery shopping could wait. It was a light, fluffy snow, but I’d guess I got about four inches here (later, I heard the official snowfall at Metro airport near me was 4.8 inches) and I didn’t feel like dealing with it. I’ll go shopping on Sunday or Monday.

I took a nice nap instead. Then I watched some TV until I got hungry. I ate leftovers then and, later, ate some raw radishes for a snack. I went to bed at 11:30 PM.
