Cleaning up my Act

I got the oil changed in the car at lunchtime and I washed it on the way home after work. Other than vacuuming the inside, the car should be ready for Spring (I know I am!)

After treating the cats, I changed my shoes and got right to work downstairs. I put both walkoff rugs on the cement patio. BTW, it was 42 degrees F. and sunny at the time. I swept them off and dumped about half a bucket of hot water and Pine Sol on them. I used a scrub brush and worked it in. I used the other half of the bucket to clean the little downstairs bathroom floor and shower.

Then I dumped several buckets of hot water on the rugs to rinse. I stuck a 2x4 under them to allow the water to run off better and to help them dry (they have a solid, black rubber backing).

Back inside, I swept the kitchen floor and the downstairs floor, scraping off stuck-on bits with a metal paint scraper. I refilled my bucket with Pine Sol and hot water, and then washed half the floor. By then, the bucket was almost black, so I dumped it and refilled it again with my cleaning mixture.

I finished up and put the bucket, mop and scrub brush away. It was already after 7:30 PM and I was hungry. So, I skipped the kitchen floor (he just tracked mud in there) and made a box of macaroni and cheese.

I ate that watching a little TV (I ate too much). I was whipped, so I just sat around the rest of the night. I went to bed at 11:00 PM.
