Well, we lucked out here in Redford and didn’t get any freezing rain. It was foggy durning the night, and overcast with occasional drizzle all day. Raw.
Naturally, this was one of those days where I had to be in and out of various buildings (B03, B07, twice to B50 and B73 to be exact) all day so I repeatedly got damp. But, at least it wasn’t snow!
When I got home, I found one of the cats had barfed on the bed again (groan), so I washed the bedspread and top sheet. Now, you may be asking yourself, “Why doesn’t he just close the bedroom door?” Well, I have thought about that. But I’d rather have them throw up on the bedspread that I can easily wash than, say, the couch or the rug.
I putzed around a while, straightening up and read some of the magazine that came in the mail. I watched the evening news. Then I made a simple, but tasty dinner: a grilled cheese sandwich and a big cup of Campbell’s tomato soup.
I either watched TV or read until about 10:00 PM when I fell asleep watching TV. I woke up at 2:00 PM, took a bathroom break (it was snowing outside, BTW) and then tried to fall back asleep.
