Playing with a Plug

It was sprinkling and colder when I went to work on Tuesday. This was annoying as I was in and out of several buildings during the day.

When I got home, I started work on changing the GFCI. I turned off the circuit and pulled off the plate. I took out the old plug and marked all the wires (see, I’m learning).

I took off the wires and left them hanging while I went out to the garage and got a hammer and chisel. I am taking the opportunity to clean up the excess tile grout around the box.

Of course, that made quite a mess so, after picking up the big chunks, I got out the vacuum and sucked up the dust and dirt.

By then it was almost 7:00 PM and I was hungry. The last thing I wanted was more soup (I’d had it for lunch and was about “souped” out!) So, I got out the four parsnips from the fridge, peeled them, sliced them and then boiled them until fork tender.

I ate them with just butter and salt. Delicious!

I decided the plug could wait another day (after all, I’ve done without it for about a week and a half now), so I quit for the night. I watched TV until bedtime.
