Sunday my furnace started acting up. I noticed it was getting very warm in here, so I checked. It was 88 degrees F.! I turned it off at the thermostat. When the temperature eventually went down, I turned it back on. But, it didn't come on. Crap!
I got out the propane heater and fired it up. Did I mention that I was sick? I was still sick on Monday and Tuesday, but I made myself drive to Home Depot and buy a new thermostat. But, I couldn’t get it to work! And the damn thing cost $40.00.
Oh yeah, the kitchen plugs aren’t working either, but none of the fuses are popped. I put the slow cooker in the living room to make my roast beef.
I did go to work on Wednesday, but I didn’t feel good. I got through the day (just barely) and tried to get the thermostat working. No dice. Now I have to take it back and buy another one. Oh, and I had to buy another tank of propane at lunch.
I apologize for not posting the Blog, but I just couldn’t deal with it.
You picked a good week (temperature wise) for your electrical to go to hell. Maybe it's time to call an electrician...
ReplyDeleteI think Jake's right...call someone...it's not going to stay at 60 degrees for too long...this is Michigan!
