Thursday's Tale

I had a lot of running around to do at lunchtime on Thursday. One of the thing I did was to buy a plain old thermostat at a hardware store.

I would have preferred using the programmable one I bought, but I am unable to wire it correctly. Upon reflection, the dumbest thing I did was NOT to take a picture of the wires BEFORE I disconnected them. But, since I successfully installed the last one, I never even thought about it!

I refilled a suet cage and took some pictures. The weather was beautiful and I wanted to be outside.

Anyway, I installed the thermostat. The furnace fan kicked on, but not the heat. Damn! It was already 7:30 PM, so I gave up for the night.

I ate leftovers for dinner and then read my book until bedtime.
