Wednesday

It was sunny but still cold on Wednesday. It wouldn’t have been bad, except for the damn wind!

At lunchtime, I took the time to hose the salt off the car at the “quarter” car wash. It was stupid, really, as it’s supposed to start raining Thursday night and, throughout the weekend it will be either rain, snow or freezing rain. But I just couldn’t stand looking at the poor car anymore.

When I got home after work, I put on my boots and refilled one of the suet cages. Then I threw some seed on the patio (where it was thawed) for the squirrels and mourning doves.

I’d done a lot of walking in the morning (yet another part of a project at my old building), so I rested up at night. I talked to B___, catching up, ate leftovers for dinner and watched TV for a while. I went to bed early.
