It wasn’t raining when I went to work! In fact, while it wasn’t all that warm and was a bit windier than I liked, it was sunny all day!! This is supposed to last until Saturday evening so, hopefully, I can get the front lawn cut. There’s no hope for the back yard until the lake goes down, though.
I thought about it all last night and then again this morning and decided to go for it. So, I enrolled at Schoolcraft College at lunch. Where are these frat parties, anyway?
I washed the bedding and a load of clothes when I got home from work. It was Friday and I was lazy so I just heated a can of chili for dinner. Both I and the cats regretted it for the rest of the night.
I watched the last half of the second and the whole of the third episodes of the Civil War series (fascinating!). I went to bed around midnight.
So what frat are you going to pledge??? Seriously what classes are you interested in taking??? Hope all is well we have rain rain and more rain. Have a good relaxing weekend. cannot still figure out how to use my name, AMY
ReplyDeleteIt's just a single class in their continuing education program on Project Management (3 1/2 hour per week class for 10 weeks).
ReplyDeleteRegarding your name, look below the box you type your post in. See where it says "Comment as: Select Profile?" Click on the little down tab and pick "Name/Url" Type in AMY and forget the URL part. Then post your comment.
Congratulations....
ReplyDelete@ GreatPapaFish (Does somebody really call you that?):
ReplyDeleteThanks, I think. But I realize that its a law of diminishing returns. Yes, there are currently 400,000 job openings for a Project Manager in Michigan that require the PMP cert (I checked). But, I know people my age with an MBA who can't get a job.
This would have made monetary sense when I was in my 30's or even my 40's. But, I am hoping that to give up nearly half the money I've managed to squirrel away since going back full time, I can keep my job until I am 66 or dead (and I don't really care anymore which one it is).
Thanks for the tip. It started raining yesterday and it finally stopped but it is windy and we are going down to 40 and supposed to get snow/rain tommorow.
ReplyDeleteYowzers! Snow in May? How many seasons do you have up there?
ReplyDelete@ Amy (will winter ever end?) Petersen: Sounds like you live in Alberta, Canada. CC can correct me, but I think they have like 10 months of Winter, two weeks of Spring, one month of Summer and two weeks of Fall.
ReplyDeleteYes, Miss Aurora Jubilee calls me "PapaFish"
ReplyDeleteI added the GREAT!
@ GreatPapaFish: LMAO! You would!
