Lazy Sunday

It was so windy on Sunday, my patio chairs kept getting rearranged. Fortunately we didn’t lose power here, but I heard they did in other places.

My friend B___ called around 10:00 AM and then Luanne called about 10:30, both were just checking in.

I did wash the bedding and iron a few shirts but I mostly read my book all day. I did finally cook some elbow macaroni and ate that with butter, salt and pepper for my Sunday supper.

I stayed up until 11:00 PM, hoping I’d sleep through the night. But I didn’t. In fact, it was worse than usual. I just lay there in the darkness and took occasional naps all night long.
