I went to work in the wet and the rain (who would have thunk it?)
I didn’t go straight home after work, however. I went to Schoolcraft College for a free information session on a course their Continuing Education and Professional Development department is offering this spring. It’s called Project Management Essentials and Exam (PMP Exam) Prep.
It lasted from 6:00 to about 7:30 PM. It was very interesting, but now I have to decide if it’s worth the time and money. This course does not have a Senior discount (most of them do) but all the course materials are included in the price (no books to buy).
I was tired when I got home, so I just fixed a sandwich for dinner. I ate it watching part one and half of part two of Ken Burn’s Civil War movie (I had taped all the two-hour sessions on PBS).
When I got sleepy, I turned it off and went to bed.
PMP Prep sounds good! Can't help with the time part but I suspect the money falls under tuition reimbursement.
