It wasn’t as sunny as I’d hoped on Thursday. So, when I went home at lunch, I repositioned the two walk-off rugs on the patio to get more light to them.
Back home after work, I found a cat had barfed on the bedspread. So, I stripped the entire bed and washed the bedding (no sense in waiting until the weekend if I had to wash the bedspread, anyway).
I got in the walk-off rugs and put them back in place. Now the downstairs looks normal, again.
My daughter Melissa called and we talked for a bit. It was nice to sit on the couch and chat instead of “doing” something.
I cut up the remaining half of the two melons, added the rest of the grapes and blueberries and stuck that into the fridge to chill.
I started making dinner. I took a container of Brussels sprouts and cut the stems off each one. Then I stripped off the outer leaves and cut them in half. After I finished that, I realized I really didn’t feel like making dinner. So, I put them in a bowl, covered them and stuck them in the fridge.
I opened a can of Hormel chili and heated that up instead. I ate that watching TV and then, later, had some of my homemade salsa with blue corn chips. I pity the fool that comes into my cubicle Friday!
