I didn’t do anything on Sunday. It was raining outside and my legs and back hurt (probably from the long drive on Saturday), so I switched to “glide”
I did make my beef jerky. I lined a half-sheet pan with tinfoil and put it on the bottom rack in the oven (to catch any drips). I laid my marinated meat strips on the top rack, turned the oven on “Warm” (170 degrees F. – that’s the lowest I can get my oven to go), cracked the door open and set the timer for 7 hours!
I watched my usual Sunday night shows but went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Wish I had un-eventful day. First how did the jerky turn out? What type of meat did you use? We had to get estimates for our central air conditoner and then we had our water filters changed out and needed a whole new faucett installed. Then the cherry on the cake of my day, our solar cover for the pool needs to be replaced. Now Carl comes home from work and asks "What broke" I understand maintenance but all at once?
