There was a post that was supposed to go with this, but it was late and apparently I didn't post it.
Anyway, I went to flush the toilet in the main bathroom. When I pushed the handle, I heard a "snap" and nothing happened. When I investigated I found that the flapper ball that had been attached to the lever with a molded piece of plastic had broken (it was a very cheap toilet).
I think all I need is a replacement flapper ball and a more traditional chain, but we'll see. This year so far, none of my plumbing problems have been easily fixed.
Say what?
