Tuesday

Tuesday was another chilly day. I stopped at PetSmart at lunch and got some kitty litter and cat treats. Because of the holiday, the garbage pickup this week will be on Wednesday.

So, after work I got the kitty litter changed out and the garbage assembled in the garage. I ate the last of the tuna salad for dinner.

I must admit, I was getting chilly, so I checked the thermostat. It was 64 degrees in the house! So, first I changed the furnace filters (I was supposed to do that September 1, but the air conditioner was running almost non-stop that day). Then I turned the heat on. It smelled a little dusty (it always does at first) but felt great.

My Brother Carl called me later and filled me in on both his and Colin’s condition. Carl’s in a lot of pain (I’ll spare you the details) and Colin’s doing better every day. I did admit to wimping out and turning the furnace on and Carl said he had his on, too.

I went to bed after the 11:00 PM news.
