It was cloudy and occasionally rainy on Tuesday (it was sprinkling when I took the garbage out to the road). I woke up too early again and cursed this Daylight Savings Time thing.
I went grocery shopping (delayed from Saturday and the gutter guard business) at Meijer’s during lunch and had just enough time to woof down a roast beef sandwich before heading back to work.
I had high hopes for doing a number of inside projects after work, but was yawning and tired by then. I did take some time to look up something for Melissa and figure out what bills to pay this weekend.
I made a pot of coffee and got a cup, just in time for Lu’s phone call from Florida. She filled me in on how things were going and said the funeral service would probably be on Friday. She sounded sad, but okay.
I warmed up some bratwurst and ate that on hot dog buns (one with Dijon mustard and one with spicy brown stone-ground mustard). The Dijon one was better. I don’t know why, but spicy brown mustard always tastes a bit too sweet to me.
I did take the time to measure the living room drapes. I need to get new ones as the hem I'd ironed in with that tape (I don't have a sewing machine) is coming off. I plan on getting the plain white tab ones again, but this time paying someone to hem them.
I watched a movie until 10:30 PM and then went to bed.
