  2. No, those are raspberries. I cut down and transplanted the raspberries bushes a couple years ago. The kudzu Luanne brought me (never trust an ex-wife) when I mentioned I wanted a vine to grown on the back wall. She called it "Virginia creeper" and said it was a fast growing vine; and she was right. It was only last year I found out just how fast and how far it would grow!

  3. Don't be calling your ex "Virginia creeper" that's not nice...
this Kudzu..does it have 5 leaves..I have something on my fence with 5 large leaves and I can't get rid of it...what are you using???
p.s. your stair strip (only saw the picture) looks good.

  4. @ GreatPapaFish: No, that's not what I call that ex. Yes, Kudzu has five big leaves and is considered horribly invasive. I have it on my fence from the yard next door as well as the stuff I stupidly planted against the back wall. It grows by runners just under the soil (or in the case of my back garden, under the mulch) So, new plants keep popping up. I have used Groundclear on it and it worked where I sprayed it. I just couldn't spray it everywhere for fear of killing my plants.
