Vicky at work got a piece of individually-wrapped Dove chocolate. I didn’t know this, but inside each piece there is a saying on the wrapper (like a fortune cookie). Hers said “Remember your first everything.”
I thought about that for a long while. I liked the idea of remembering your first everything. What a great way to live your life!
Then it dawned on me that I can barely remember my last anything, much less my first.
Sigh...
