The abridged version of the missing Friday post

I apologize about that. Let's see...

Michelle had the day off so I did both our jobs and was pretty busy during work. I ran errands at lunch and figured I would forgo eating lunch (I planned ahead and brought in an apple). But Vicky announced she was going to Jimmy Johns and asked if anybody wanted anything. So, she picked me up a turkey sandwich.

At home after work, I filled in my ToDo list and listened to a voicemail from Lu. Her transmission parts had still not come in and the dealership was closed over the weekend, so she wouldn't be picking up the bed this weekend.

It was payday, so I paid some bills online (I think I only have two bills I still have to write checks for: my water bill and the lawn service - neither offers online bill pay)

I warmed up two brats for dinner and ate some of that cucumber salad as my side dish. It had been four days, so the rest went into the garbage disposal.

I talked with B___ on the phone for a while and we exchanged our week's doings.

I went through my drawer of receipts and shredded all of the non-relevant ones (like CVS)or ones where the warranty had already expired. I really need to develop a system for receipt retention and destruction.

I watched TV until about 11:00 PM and then went to bed.
