Thank God I’m Back to Work...

...so I can rest! Monday morning finally came after all my tossing and turning. It was cold outside, with a little wind that seemed to cut right through you. It made my morning walk challenging.

At lunch, I went to Home Depot (hey, they would miss me if I didn’t stop by) and replaced the 3/4-inch #10 self-tapping wood screws I stole from the tool hanger installation to use on the sheet metal I attached to the vanity.

Then I stopped at O’Rielly’s and got another gallon of 50/50 antifreeze, so I have some in the house.

I was going to make a turkey sandwich for lunch, but was so cold I decided I wanted hot soup, instead. So, I heated up a can of Campbell’s Bean with Bacon soup.

On the way back to work, I stopped and filled up my gas tank.

My afternoon walk was just as unpleasant as the morning one.

When I was home for the evening, the first thing I did after treating the cats was to make a hot cup of coffee. Then I started assembling the trash. After switching out the kitty litter, I took out the garbage can, a full garbage bag and a large cardboard box with more cardboard in it. I anchored the box with the garbage bag and went back inside.

I watched the rest of the evening news while I putzed around, doing little things, like emptying the dishwasher and so on. When it ended, I made dinner.

And, I had an excellent dinner! I made up a plate with an open face turkey sandwich, topped with gravy, a small acorn squash half, some of the green beans and mushrooms and the cranberry relish.

I was really tired, so I went to bed around 9:00 PM.
