Wednesday

We warmed up a bit on Wednesday. It was nine degrees F. when I woke up, but a lot less windy.

I took in the leftover pizza and an apple for lunch, so I didn’t have to go out at noon. I should have eaten it cold, but I stupidly tried to warm it up in the microwave. Of course, that just makes it soggy. I heard somewhere (and may have even written this in the Blog before) that if you warm it up in a dry skillet over medium heat, the crust stays “crusty” but I didn’t have a stove or a skillet at work.

I took both my walks inside (not nearly as satisfying, BTW).

It was up to 17 degrees when I got home. I treated the cats, changed clothes and started the Wednesday night wash.

I warmed up two pieces of meatloaf and steamed some frozen sweet corn for my dinner.

I watched a little TV, but went to bed early.
