Monday’s
weather was supposed to be snow, starting between 7-8:00 AM (at least according to
Channel 4) and then switching to rain as the temperature went just above freezing.
But there was nothing happening when I drove to work.
The
snow actually started here at 10:00 AM or so. I walked in it,
anyway. It was the winds that made it unpleasant.
For
a change, I went straight home at lunchtime. I made and ate a can of Campbell’s chicken noodle soup.
It
began raining in the afternoon, so that walk was inside.
Before
going in the house after work, I took trash out to the road in light rain. Then
I went in, treated the cats and changed clothes.
I
watched the evening news until dinnertime. Dinner was a corned beef and cabbage repeat with au jus on top of everything.
It was still excellent and I ate too much.
I
finished cleaning up the last of my mess from yesterday: the soaking slow
cooker insert. Then I cleaned and sterilized the counters and stovetop, and ran the
dishwasher.
I watched
the taped Sunday night episode of the Vikings on the History channel and went
to bed at 10:00 PM.
