Wednesday started out to be picture-perfect. My morning walk
was very enjoyable and I didn’t want to go back inside.
At lunchtime, I went to the Newburgh Grill and got a cup of
chicken lemon rice soup and a mini Greek salad. Then I went to the Mazda
dealership on a quick errand. Finally, I took a nice drive down Hines Park
Drive. The park was beautiful, with that light green sheen of spring,
accentuated here and there with pink flowering trees.
My afternoon walk was just as pleasant.
But, a quick shower moved through just after 4:00 PM. I had
the windows cracked and the sunroof opened, so I got wet getting them closed.
My co-workers were all talking about what kind of pizza was
their favorite in the afternoon and I was starting to get a real craving. So,
just before 5:00 PM, I called Domino’s and arranged to pick up one of their large,
three-topping carry-out pizzas for $7.99.
When I got home after work, I went out back and took
pictures of the day’s work on the shed. I think I should start calling it an
outbuilding instead of a shed. It looks like a small house!
Back inside, I ate some pizza while it was still warm. It tasted
delicious and I am ashamed to admit I ate half of it watching the last of the
news.
I dug out the air purifier. I love leaving the bedroom
window cracked open when I sleep, but hate waking up with a stuffy nose. I’ll
see if that helps…
I did the Wednesday night wash and watched a little TV until
the Red Wings game came on. Since it was on the West Coast, it was 10:00 PM
when it started. I watched the first two periods before deciding it was time to
go to bed. It was after midnight and the score was tied…
All you need is a picture window...
ReplyDeleteNo, No! That would be a security concern unless I bought some big-ass security bars!!!
