Wednesday was almost a repeat of Tuesday’s weather for most
of the day. There was more wind, though, as a cold front slowly approached.
I went to Time Out at lunch and got a Chef Salad. Then I
went and dropped that box of stuff off at Goodwill.
It still had not rained by the time I left work for home,
thank God. I got home, treated the cats and changed clothes. The weather radio
was going off, BTW, with a severe storm warning. I started the Wednesday Wash
and then headed out to the garage.
Now, as I said, it was only a couple degrees (91 instead of
93) cooler than yesterday. But, I needed to get than dumb rocker done! It is in
my way! So, I turned it upright and started painting.
It started raining about 6:30 p.m. It was windy, with
thunder and lightning, but it didn’t look all that severe, here.
I got the first coat (oh, yes, it will need another coat)
finished by 7:15. I went in, washed up and started dinner.
I warmed up one of those baked potatoes. I had made them for
sides, but they were too big. So, I turned this one into the whole meal. When
it was hot, I topped it with butter, sour cream, a crumbled slice of bacon and
thin sliced green onions.
It was quite filling, but fantastic!
I started watching a National Geographic special about the
making of unique Viking swords on Netflix. It was fascinating (seriously – they
used a technique not known in the rest of Western Europe until about a thousand
years later). It was over about 10:00 p.m., so I just went to bed.
