I woke up on Wednesday to a chilly house. But, it felt good
to leave the bedroom window opened over night.
I went to Lowe’s after eating a light lunch at the Newburgh
Grill. I bought a small, electric power washer and some cleaning solution. Now
that I have the engine out, I have got to spray the barn crud and road grime
off the bike! Just not tonight.
It did warm up into the low 80’s, but the breeze kept it nice.
I got home and got the trashcan into the garage. I went
inside then, treated the cats and changed clothes. Then I went out back to cut
the grass.
Sidebar: I know I keep saying this, but I really, REALLY
have to level the mower deck. Just not tonight.
I finished up at 6:45 p.m. I put the mower away and locked
the shed. Then I dragged the hose over to the shed and watered the new grass.
It hasn’t rained in a few days and I wanted to make sure it stays healthy.
Back inside to the evening, I washed up and then warmed up
the last of the shrimp and pasta. Once again, I plated it on a bed of fresh
baby spinach and topped it with Parmigiano-Reggiano. And, once again, it was
delicious.
I watched a fascinating, two-hour documentary on the making
of the “Godfather” movie and its sequels I found while channel surfing. When it
finished at 10:00 p.m., I opened the bedroom window and then went to bed.
You can use the power washer on your siding now, too. That's big business down here.
ReplyDeleteHere, too. But, sadly, I just washed it all down with Windex. :(
