It was still overcast with a chance of rain on Thursday. I
didn’t see any in the morning, although the streets were damp when I left the
house. I stopped in at O’Rielly’s and bought a bottle of fuel injector cleaner before
going into work.
I came home at lunch. I had to stop at CVS, so I popped in
next door and got some chicken fried rice. Next, I went to the gas station,
dumped the fuel injector in the tank and then filled it up.
[Sidebar: I try and do this every time I get my oil changed,
but I forgot to this last time. I don’t “know” that this helps, but it can’t
hurt, right?]
It was raining and raining hard when I left for home. I
broke my own rule and got on the I-96 expressway. Sure enough, it was hard to
see, people were driving stupid and it took me as long to get home as it would
have if I had just drove down Plymouth Road to the house.
I watched the news until 7:00 p.m. and then I went onto my
night’s project: cleaning the main bath. That effort took until after 8:00, but
the tiles are now sparkling, so it was worth it!
I warmed up the rest of the fried rice for dinner,
supplementing it with a side salad of lettuce and green onions.
I joined the Red Wings in progress, but I fell asleep before
the game ended.
