Snow Day

I woke up early but didn’t even try to go to work on Monday. I ate some yogurt from breakfast, had a cup of coffee and lazed around until I decided to shave and shower. I figured I would go out and try to run the car out to the road and back to pack down the snow. But, I heard the sound of an ATV in the front and saw Rick had come to my rescue!

This time I was home, so I walked out and thanked him. Since it was clear, I took the trashcan out to the road and put a letter in the mailbox. I made some of the hard-boiled eggs into egg salad. I put it on top of toasted bread with some lettuce for my lunch.

Now I just have to hope that the wind doesn’t blow the snow back! It’s really windy out there! At 4:00 p.m. it was 0 degree F. here in Redford and the nighttime low is supposed to be -13.

I did get the new waterline installed for the dishwasher, but that’s as far as I got.

I took out some chili from the freezer to thaw for my dinner. I watched the news until it was over than ate dinner.

I watched the movie “The Mask of Zorro” and was in bed by 10:30 p.m.
