(It’s been along week of bad weather and my head cold). It
was damn cold again today. 1 4 degrees F. when I woke up. We had Wind Chill
Advisories until 11:00 a.m. It was already windy when I woke up, but it was
supposed to get worse!
I had forgotten my regular gloves at work on Thursday night.
I blame that on the rigmarole of having to put on my sports coat, then my overcoat,
just to get out the door. So, I dug out another pair and suited up for the trip.
I never really felt warm all day. I just went to Time Out at
lunch, so I didn’t have to be out in the wind that long.
After work, I made a cup of hot chocolate and then went out
to fill the feeders while it was still light.
Back inside, I took care of some Friday night chores and
then watched the news. I made a side salad and ate that with a chicken pot pie
for dinner.
I started watching the Olympic opening, but around 9:00
p.m., the cable went out. Disgusted, I went to bed. I’ll deal with it in the
morning…
Cable came on long enough to post this and then died again?
