Okay, so now I'm pissed

I admit, I go to strange places and donate money. I have bought goats for somebody in Africa and so on...

So, in December, I came across a site called Kickstarter. It raised money for people with ideas.The thing was if enough people gave money, you were charged for your pledge and it happened. I was interested in a person who wrote a book he called "My Uncle Gets Sick" and wanted it published.

I figured, "What the hell?" and pledged $25.00 US.

First I got a message that he didn't get enough money and my credit card wouldn't be charged.

Um, okay. Sorry Charlie.

Today I got an email that said:

"On Wednesday night, law enforcement officials contacted Kickstarter and alerted us that hackers had sought and gained unauthorized access to some of our customers' data. Upon learning this, we immediately closed the security breach and began strengthening security measures throughout the Kickstarter system."

WTF???

I gotta find that "give a goat" site again...
