Thursday

It was still cold on Thursday, but the sun was shining, so it felt warmer. I went to GFS at lunch to pick up a couple things and then went home for lunch. I warmed up some of that split pea soup I made I while back and then froze.

When I got home after work, I was disappointed in one of the cats for barfing on my bed. I was disappointed in myself for not having made the bed properly before work. That resulted in me having to wash not just the bedspread, but also the big green blanket and the sheets!

That’s two loads!

And messing around with that made it difficult to get to a small project in the garage I’d planned on doing…

So, instead I watched the news. I remade the bed in two stages.

I warmed up the last of the steak and then topped it with the last of the bleu cheese butter. I paired that with some of the wild rice and had an excellent microwaved supper.

I watched the Olympics, but couldn’t turn it off at 10:00 p.m. So I watched it until after 11:00 when there was a logical stopping point.
