But it didn’t feel all that like spring! Friday morning was
cool and (thankfully) not windy.
We had a department pizza party to celebrate our migration
to active directory. I went and ate a couple pieces of pizza and a good helping
of Greek salad. I chatted with a few people, but then left. I am just not that
sociable anymore.
Since it was sunny out, I drove up and down Hines Drive
through the park. I could only go halfway as the rest was closed due to
flooding.
When I got home after work, I found that Caley had barfed on
the bed. So, I started the weekend wash a day early.
I got a call from the lady at Belfor Restoration. I had
called a few days ago to ask if they removed soot from ceilings. They deal more
with industrial building, but the lady I talked to said she would check around.
She called and said she had one (maybe two) places that could help and gave me the
number of the first one. She said they said it would require cleaning with a
dry cleaning sponge, washing, repainting with Kilz and then repainting.
Dammit!
I filled out the ToDo list (groan). Then I took the night
off. For dinner, I ate that last plate of corned beef, cabbage, potatoes and
carrots I had made up the other day.
Instead of TV, I read a book until I was sleepy and then
went to bed.
All of the smoking finally caught up to you....soot on the ceiling!
ReplyDeleteLOL! No, its soot from the propane heater when the furnace went out.
