Thursday, with a winter/spring mix

It was clear and cold when I went into work. But, it started snowing here about 9:00 a.m. It switched to rain about 10:00. But, when I left for lunch, it was ice pellets and sleet.

I went to GFS for some squeeze bottles (one of mine developed a leak). I was surprised they didn’t have my kind. I thought that was where I bought them. I bought some more bar towels so my trip wasn’t wasted.

I went home and had some soup for lunch. Then it was back into the weather.

After work, I went back to the shower project. If you remember, I was stuck trying to tighten two screws on each end, due to their location. It dawned on me (a little late, I know) that they didn’t have to be Philips head screws. If they were hex head, I could put them in with a ratchet!

So, I replaced the unworkable screws with hex head ones, got a ratchet, extension and the right socket and finally had the damn thing up! I slid on the two end covers and the little plastic thingies so that the rods didn’t rattle.

Then I put on the shower curtain clips with the beads. Finally, I hung up the shower curtain and the liner. All I have to do now is clean the tub and I will be ready to go!

Shower Rings with Beads

Anybody need some used, but nice shower rings?

But, it was almost 8:00 p.m. and I was hungry. So, I made another small side salad and heated up a chicken pot pie.

I ate that watching a depressing Red Wings game. It was close, but we lost. I went to bed.
