Wednesday

It was 12 degrees when I woke up and no wind! It was a heat wave. I even debated whether or not to wear a coat… But in the end, I did.

By the time I went to lunch, I was glad I did! For the temps hadn’t fallen, but the wind had risen and it felt cold again. I drove to Time Out and had a grilled ham and cheese sandwich and a cup of potato with bacon soup. Both were excellent.

When I got home after work, I treated Caley, changed clothes and then started the mid-week wash. Other than the long range forecast, I ignored the news on the TV and got to work.

I was completing my income tax. Now, it’s pretty straightforward, but it was still just before 8:00 p.m. when I was finished, printed off a copy and e-filed both the Federal and State forms.

I warmed up the last of the garlic Parmesan chicken and wild rice for supper. I watched a movie called ‘Manhunter” on the Sundance channel (one of my favorite channels). It was about the hunt for a serial killer and wasn’t bad. I went to bed when it was done.

  1. Ahh, yes. Manhunter with William Petersen. That was the first we saw of Hannibal Lecter. Later remade (well, from the same novel) with Edward Norton as Red Dragon.

  2. Interesting. I knew nothing of this prior, so I was surprised when they first mentioned Hannibal Lecter.
