When I woke up Friday morning, it was still 71 degrees F,
but overcast and muggy. So, I carried my rain-proof jacket to work.
It didn’t rain here all morning, but it felt like rain when
I walked outside. I grabbed a sandwich and a cup of soup at Time Out and then
went to Lowe’s. I picked up a gallon of Kilz. I also got two spray cans of
Scrubbing Bubbles (Melissa’s suggestion for the shower tile soot).
Just after I got back from work, a wicked thunderstorm came
through. It didn’t last that long, but the rain was coming down so hard it was
bouncing when it hit!
The sun came out briefly during the afternoon, but it looked
like rain again on the way home.
It turned really dark and threatening about 6:30 p.m., but
it never did rain again, here. I was inside, working on the computer, anyway. I
took care of banking, the ToDo list, the errand list, and the shopping list. I
also bought my Fishing license for this year.
I ate the last of the meatloaf and the last baked potato for
dinner. It looked too small on the plate, so I added some frozen corn to fill
it up.
I took the rest of the night off and fell asleep trying to
catch up on taped TV shows.
