Sunny Days and Tuesdays

Tuesday started off chilly, but sunny! Nice for a change!!

I wanted to go to Lowe’s at lunch, so I stopped at the Newburgh Grill. For a change, the ham and bean soup was ready, so I ordered a bowl (instead of a cup – I love that stuff!) and a mini-Greek salad. I didn’t realize how big their bowls were and couldn’t finish my salad. Which was sad, because it was good.

I went to Lowe’s to check and see if they had extension handles for the dry cleaning sponges I ordered on Monday from Home Depot. They didn’t. I should have ordered them from Home Depot as well, but they didn’t show them until after I had checked out! I’ll try the Home Depot store Wednesday morning, I guess.

I walked outside both times as it eventually got up into the 60’s, here.

When I got home, I had two nice surprises in my mail. The first was the license plate and the registration for my bike. The other was a 200 page catalog from nfieldgear. It was filled with tons of accessories, replacement parts and apparel, all for Royal Enfield enthusiasts. Good for late night reading, drooling and dreaming!

I changed clothes and went out and installed my license plate. Then I went out back. I spent almost an hour picking up sticks so I can cut the grass this week. Then I got out the blower and blew the winter debris off the patio. I came in about 7:45 p.m.

I warmed up a bowl of the linguine with clams. I must say this was the first time I had linguine with clams and mushrooms. But, I think the mushrooms are to add texture and make up for not having whole clams. Anyway, it was still good.

I got my NCIS/NCIS, L.A. fix and went to bed at 10:00 p.m., again.
