Thursday’s weather was absolutely perfect: Sunny, low humidity and a high of 74 degrees F.!!!

I ate a chicken salad sandwich for lunch.

When I got home, I quickly changed clothes, got out the push mower and cut the front lawn. One of the yellow lilacs out in the English garden next to the tiger lilies had bloomed overnight and was stunning.

Then I took the push mower out back and cut the tight areas (for the tractor) next to the house.

The plan was to cut the back lawn as well, but when I walked way out back, I found a lot of areas that still looked too soggy. So, I just cut the perimeter with the push mower instead. I’ll have to give it one more day to dry out.

When I got back inside, it was after 8:00 p.m. I ate the last pork shops with the pasta salad for dinner and then watched TV until bedtime.
