Tuesday

It rained off and on for most of Tuesday, with two hard showers. One was at 11:00 a.m. and the other at 4:00.

I went to Livonia Locksmith at lunch (in the rain) to get a couple of keys made. I also bought a few plastic key fobs you can label.

Since I was over that way (Five Mile and Farmington), I ate at O’Malley’s. I haven’t been there in years and they’ve gone through a couple of management changes. But the food was good and the prices reasonable.

Back at home, I retrieved the trashcan and went inside. I sat on the bed and fixed up the keys in my box. I was unsure about one of them and wanted to make sure the shed key copy I had made today worked. So, I went outside to check.

There was a half inch of rain in the gauge.

The shed key worked and the one key was for the padlock on the north gate.

Back inside, I cleaned up basket of Brussel sprouts and then boiled them. The idea was to have something for a side after the sweet corn was gone. But, I ended up not eating any leftovers, just eating all the Brussel sprouts! Damn they were good!

I watched reruns of NCIS, NCIS Los Angeles and the new Longmire I taped Monday night. Then I went to bed.
