Muggy Monday

Monday was hot and humid, with the potential of thunderstorms in the late afternoon.

I called the eye doctor and found there was a one year warranty on my eyeglass frames! But, it will take a week or so before they come in.

I went to Newburgh Grill at lunch and got a gyro and a cup of beef vegetable soup. Then I went to Lowe’s and got some sandpaper and a dowel.

My afternoon walk was uncomfortable, to say the least. It was really, really muggy!

When I got home after work, I took the trashcan out to the road. I noticed the day lilies were beginning to bloom, so I snapped a photo for you.

Back inside, I thought of working on projects, but decided to putz instead. I emptied the dishwasher, for example.

I ate the last of the ham and peas salad for dinner. Then I watched TV until bedtime. It never did rain...
