The weather on Thursday was perfect here in Southeast
Michigan: Sunny, mid-seventies with a light breeze.
I drove through Hines Park with the truck window open after
eating a mushroom-Swiss burger at Time Out.
Back home after work, I changed clothes and watered the
container gardens. Then I got back to the shelf project. I took another kitchen
towel and dusted each item on the second set of shelving. This went slower than
the canned goods, as I had to decide on whether or not I actually used the
item. So, I ended up with less “stuff” on the shelf and a garbage bag filled
with unused things.
Then I could get to the washer and start the Wednesday wash,
albeit late. While that was working through its cycles, I took the tung oil and
applied the first coat to the little stand.
I called Coletta, my Brother Jim’s wife to see how she was
doing. She’s got a bad cold and sounded horrible, but she said, all in all, she’s
doing fine.
I ate the rest of the eggplant that I had fried, but not made into eggplant Parmesan, last weekend.

I watched a couple of taped shows, then switched to reading
until bedtime.
