It was warmer still on Friday. In fact, it was almost like
summer! I drove in with the hostas waving in the breeze at other cars.
I got some boxes, lined them with garbage bags and set the
hostas sacks into them. Then Michelle put them in her truck at lunch.
After work, I needed to move some patio blocks outside and I
decided to use my garden wagon. Of course, that meant I had to get the tractor
out of the shed first. So, I did. It fired right up, but I decided I better let
it run for a while to charge up the battery. So, I drove it around the backyard
a few time (avoiding the camera area). I got out the wagon and moved my stuff
and then put everything away.
Back inside, I worked on the computer for a while and then
decided to make some dinner. While rooting around in the fridge, I found the
rest of the steamed cauliflower from last week. It still looked good, so I
warmed it up in the microwave.
I topped it with butter and salt (of course) and started
eating. As a side dish it would have been excellent. But, as a main meal, it was
pretty boring. So, I laid a couple of Kraft American cheese slices on top and
stuck it back in the microwave. I watched until it was melting and then pulled
it. Sounds weird, I know, (broccoli would have made more sense). But, it was
pretty tasty!
I watched Bonnie and Clyde (the Warren Beatty, Fay Dunaway
one) and went to bed when it ended at 10:30 p.m.
I was wondering where you were going with those hostas. I also like the old Bonnie and Clyde movie...good choice!
ReplyDeleteI like that version better than the more recent one. Who knows witch is more authentic? "I ain't afraid!"
