Tuesday was a perfect fall day. Not that it’s supposed to be
fall yet. But, it was crisp and sunny and made me think of apple cider and
donuts.
I went to the Newburgh Grill for lunch and got a gyro with a
cup of bean and ham soup.
It’s not supposed to rain until (maybe) Saturday night/Sunday
morning. So, after eating, I went and got the truck washed.
I remembered to get the food my friend Michelle from
Facilities left me out of the fridge at 5:00 p.m. It was a big stuffed red
pepper.
When I got home after work, I spread two bags of mulch I had
sitting in the garage on the front garden. It felt good to be working outside.
I came in and heated up the stuffed red pepper for dinner.
It was very spicy, but excellent. I’m gonna ask for that recipe!
I turned on the computer. I had a message from my great
nephew, Hunter, asking me if I got his Facebook call. I told him I had no idea
what that was. So, he messaged me that his Dad, Russ, was down in my area,
visiting his brother Jason and gave me his cell phone number.
I called and he asked if he could stop by and show me his
new bike. I said, “Sure!”
So, both of them rode over. I checked out their bikes, both
Sportsters and both sharp bikes! They checked out my bike and my truck. All in
all, we spent almost two hours, bullshitting in the driveway and the garage.
After they left, I shut everything up. I moved into my
recliner with my book and read until almost 11:00 p.m., when I started getting
sleepy. So I went to bed.
Sounds like a good time!
