Thursday

It was a little hotter and a little more humid on Thursday.

Work was still crazy, so after a lunch at Ten Yen, I took a ride through Hines Park.

I got through the afternoon and headed home.

I swept the house from end to end after I noticed I had some thyme leaves (from the butternut squash bake) on the kitchen floor.

About 6:15 p.m., the winds picked up dramatically – the trees were whipping around like you wouldn’t believe. Then I heard thunder.  Then we got a hard, wind-driven rain!

It was all over by 7:15 p.m. and the sun came back out.

I warmed up the last of the steak, and ear of sweet corn and a small side bowl of butternut squash for dinner. Yummo!

I watched a little TV, messed around on the computer and read my book (not in that order) but was in bed asleep by 10:00 p.m.
