I went out into the light rain on Tuesday morning to
retrieve the game trail camera. I had the time, so I checked the SIMS card. 63
video clips, mostly squirrels and blowing ferns. There were three of my
neighbor, cutting his back lawn, and one of me checking out my raised bed
vegetable garden. But, no night-time visitors. In fact, no night videos at all!
It rained off and on all day. I went to the Newburgh Grill
for lunch and got a cup of beef vegetable soup and a patty melt.
It finally stopped raining by the time I left work for home
at five. I checked the rain gauge on the patio and, between yesterday and today, I had
almost an inch of rain in it.
I checked out somebody’s photos on the internet! Excellent,
but it took a while…
I warmed up another third of that steak and two ears of roasted
sweet corn for dinner. It was still excellent!
I watched a little taped TV and then switched to reading
until bedtime.
Steak and corn...what could be better? Besides a million dollars!
ReplyDeleteThis dinner was almost (almost) worth a million bucks! Perfect steak, the melted utter and bleu cheese and the just-right roasted corn.
