And The Band Played Waltzing Matilda ~ Eric Bogle

I was totally blown away when I heard this song at lunch in Time Out. It was an early 70's Folk Song by an Irish folk singer named Eric Bogle I loved back in the day...  I'm sure it was in line with the antiwar sympathies back then, but I do remember the first time I heard it, I cried.


Why it was on their playlist, I'll never know. But, I think it puts a real face on the "glory" of war. Ask me and I'll post the written lyrics.
