This reminds me SO much of an incident back in the '80's. I stopped in to see a friend who was an executive (I was a factory worker) and he introduced me to somebody. Okay, so I was a little messed up, but he said, "I've heard a lot about you!" So, I said, "I don't care what you heard, that goat was dead before I ever touched it!" I can't explain to this day why I said that, but, believe me that story gets told over and over... I'm pretty sure my buddy apologized, afterwards...
