It was another cold, dreary morning. But this time there was no rain. The sun did come out briefly, but soon it was gone.

I went to lunch at Time Out. One of the specials was an “Old German Cheeseburger with fries.” Being an old German myself, I had to try it. I did ask the waitress what that meant and she said the patty had onions, green peppers and carrots in it. Hmmm…

I skipped the fries and had a cup of excellent chicken noodle soup instead.

The “Old German Cheeseburger tasted like meatloaf with cheese on it. Really, really good meatloaf, though. Since I like meatloaf, it was delicious. But, I still don’t know what exactly made it an “Old German Cheeseburger.”

I left there and went to fill my truck up with gas. I paid $2.79 per gallon!!!

I had a call from the Nissan dealership. My splash guards came in. So, I set up an appointment for 5:30 today (the service department is open late on Thursdays) to get them installed.

I left work at 4:30 p.m. to (hopefully) beat the rush hour traffic. I got to the dealer just after 5:00 p.m. In less than 45 minutes, I was back on the road, heading home.

I had checked them out at the dealership and then once again in the garage. They are more subtle than I thought they would be (I thought they would stick out more from the fenders). I like them!

Since I ate the last of the Pasta Alfredo with bacon last night and it was late for making a real dinner tonight, I opened a can of Dinty Moore Beef Stew. I warmed that up on the stove and then ate it with buttered bread.

I watched some taped TV, but turned in before 10:00 p.m.
