Tuesday’s Tale

It was raining when I took out the trash Tuesday morning. On the way into work, it was more rain than the intermittent wiper setting could handle, but not enough for the regular wipers, if that makes any sense.

And it stayed cloudy, rainy, windy and cold all damn day.

My walk outside in the morning was cancelled due to rain, so I walked in the shop.

I went up to Bahama Breeze (7 Mile and Haggerty) and met my ex-coworker Michelle for lunch. I ordered a Cuban sandwich and was disappointed. I’ve had them before. Hell, I’ve even used Alton’s recipe and made them. This was NOT a Cuban sandwich. The only thing about it that was correct was the ham and that it was pressed. There should not have been salami, lettuce and tomato on it. And, it should have had roast pork, pickle slices and cheese, which it did not!

But we did have a nice visit.

I walked outside in the afternoon but didn’t like it. It really was a raw day and felt more like late November, early December than mid-October.

I retrieved the trash can from the road and noticed one of the handles was now broken. Thanks, garbage guys!

After I treated Caley, I went out back and brought in the SIM card from the Game Trail camera. There were 210 videos on it and I watched every one. I posted the best (loved the inquisitive skunk and the bunny!) I deleted the videos from the card and took it back outside. I moved the camera to a different tree and set it back up.

I warmed up three slices of smoke turkey and the rest of the rutabagas for my dinner. I watched both NCIS and NCIS New Orleans live and then went to bed.
