I woke up in a fog on Thursday, literally! And not the normal wimpy
Redford fog we sometimes get. This was a full-blown, St. Clair kind of pea soup
fog. I noticed it when I went to the bathroom at 4:00 a.m. and didn’t see my
back yard, just a weird, white, glowing (from the neighbor's yard light) scene.
Oddly enough, it was almost gone by the time I left for
work.
I went to the Newburgh Grill for lunch and surprised
everyone (including myself) by ordering two Coney dogs and a side of fries!
Why? I dunno. But my tummy protested the whole idea all afternoon long.
It was lightly raining when I drove home, but at least it
was warmer (74 degrees F.)
So, I watched the news until it stopped raining. Then I went
out and resumed power washing the siding. I got the north side and the west
side of the main house done before it got dark. That only leaves the addition
left to do.
I warmed up the Wendy’s chili left over from the family
reunion and ate that for supper. I watched the rest of the Tigers ALDS Game 1.
They clobbered us in the 8th inning!
Disappointed, I switched to reading until bed time.
Chili for lunch, and chili for dinner....God help your poor stomach. p.s. Chili was excellent
ReplyDeleteTrust me, this was just one of my life events I have regretted. I was pleased and proud to notice "my" chili didn't upset my stomach as the Coney chili, though.Wendy's obviously does something right besides their awesome pretzel bun!
