Hump Day

The high here in Redford on Wednesday was 10 degrees F. I went to Time Out for lunch and got a bean and cheese burrito. It was huge and I could only eat about half of it. On the plus side, that kept my dietary distress to a minimum in the afternoon.

I went to the Sunoco gas station across the street (when it’s this cold, I don’t like the truck’s gas tank to get really low). But, when I went in to prepay, the guy said none of his pumps were working. They had all frozen up!

I went elsewhere and got my gas for $1.83 a gallon.

I ordered my electric branding iron along with the optional date stamp.

Back at home, I started the Wednesday wash. For dinner, I warmed up another stuffed chicken breast and steamed some frozen sweet corn.

I watched a couple of taped TV shows, but then switched to reading until bedtime, huddled under the covers to keep warm.
