It was still very cold on Tuesday. Speaking of weather, I
forgot to mention something. When I was wishing Leon a happy birthday, I asked
about the difficulty of getting out in the fields to feed and water the cows
with all that snow. He said the snow wasn’t that bad this year. I said, “Well,
maybe not totaled overall, but what about the 16 ½ inches last weekend?” He
said they only got about two inches of snow in Coldwater!!!
I set the trashcan out to the road and drove into work.
I went to Ten Yen for lunch and got the usual (#7, Won Ton
soup and hot tea). The owner teased me for not eating it all (he usually does)
and I told him he gave me too much food (again). I said, “Seriously, people in
China don’t eat this much for lunch, do they?” He said they believe eating a
large lunch and a very small dinner is better for your health.
When I got home, I got the mail and took the trashcan back
inside. I found my updated 2015 bike registration in the mail. Hurray, I’m now totally
legal!!!
My joy was tempered by the cat barf on the bed. So, I washed
the blanket and added all the towels (no sense wasting the water).
I made a small salad of head lettuce, sweet onion and some
celery. I ate that with some bottled blue cheese dressing. Then I heated up a
turkey pot pie.
I ate that watching Detroit's Mayor Mike Duggan's State of the City address. I like that guy!
I watched both my NCIS shows and then switched to reading
until 11:30 p.m.
I miss Ten Yen. There food is always delicious and cheap!
ReplyDeleteYes, yes it is. And, I like the fact I don't have to order. He just starts bringing me food!
ReplyDeleteWhat's your preferred bottle bleu?
ReplyDelete@ Jake: After intensive taste-testing (seriously) I settled on Wishbone Chunky Blue Cheese.
